LINZ engaged Grant Thornton New Zealand to modernise some of our websites to improve stability, scalability, cost efficiency, and to allow more frequent updates to run at the speed of our business. This was achieved with the assistance of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) CodePipeline and CloudFormation products to provide automated release alongside other critical AWS services. LINZ is now able to provide the information customers need more reliably and at scale as workload demands; costs are also minimised through streamlined and efficient environment management. The team at Grant Thornton worked well with the internal team at LINZ and our other providers; we were able to leverage their skills, AWS design and deployment knowledge to meet the LINZ business requirements. We reached our desired position to get the best out of our website implementation on AWS.Chris Monteith Chief Information Officer, Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ)
