Grant Thornton has announced the appointment of Jay Shaw as a Partner in its corporate finance team in Auckland. Jay specialises in share, business, and IP valuations required for commercial purposes including M&A, accounting, and restructuring. He also offers valuation and forensic accounting services in a range of matters subject to dispute, including business and shareholder disputes, and relationship property matters.
Jay has over 20 years’corporate and advisory experience working with clients ranging from small privately owned businesses to publicly listed companies across a broad range of industries.
Jay was an associate director with Grant Thornton prior to spending four years with Grant Thornton’s valuation services team in London. Commenting on his appointment, Jay said,“I am delighted to re-join Grant Thornton in New Zealand, and I’m looking forward to further developing our growing corporate finance practice here”.
