Kerry has extensive experience in audit assurance services where he spent eleven years developing his accounting career. Kerry spent two years working out of the London office specialising in the area of Lloyds Insurance auditing and reinsurance business.

Kerry returned to Wellington to take up the role of audit manager in 1997 and took an active role in litigation support and receivership assignments.

In 2000 Kerry took on the role of Senior Manager in the Business advisory services division while continuing to work in the Assurance area. Kerry became a partner of the Wellington office on 1 November 2004.

Kerry has been involved in many facets of assurance including:

• Evaluation and review of accounting systems and internal control systems
• Considerable investment of time and resource into the ‘Not For Profit’ sector through presentations and technical assistance
• Preparation of management reports and discussion of those reports with key client personnel
• Control and coordination of the complete audit assignment (both accounting systems audit and financial statements audit) through to audit clearance
• Investigating, developing, analysing and implementing and improving management information systems
• Coordination and monitoring of clients’ progress
• Preparation of financial data and management reports.
  

Outside Interests

When not in the office Kerry enjoys a wide variety of outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking the hills of Wellington or motor cycling the city suburbs as well as water and snow skiing.
