Trevor is a former Chairman of Grant Thornton New Zealand and has been a part of the organisation since 1982. He is a member of the Christchurch Privately Held Business division.
As a Specialist Advisory Partner, Trevor is currently acting as a Statutory Manager with two other Grant Thornton Partners. In his advisory work he assists underperforming businesses turnaround their performance, and works closely with a range of companies to strengthen management and governance procedures. Trevor is involved at board level (formal and advisory boards) assisting directors and owners in setting and achieving strategic outcomes, maximising operating performance in both the short and longer term and implementing best practice.
Outside of work, Trevor has a strong interest in cricket and is involved in bringing test cricket back to Christchurch at Hagley Oval. Trevor is a board member of Richmond Fellowship of New Zealand and City Care Ltd and a Trustee of the Christchurch Cathedral Foundation, the Rainbow Children's Trust and the Canterbury Cricket Trust. He is also a former member of the Victory Park Board and a former Treasurer of Canterbury Cricket.
